Export Event Report: Downloading Your Attendee Info

Learn how to configure your data fields, include canceled orders, accept export compliance terms, and download a custom CSV transaction history.

Build and download a fully customized CSV report from your event configurations to audit financials, print physical door manifests, or extract customer demographic data.

💡 Proactive Tip: Export your report before your event kicks off so you can sort, filter, or share the data spreadsheet safely with your team.

Export Limitations

  • No org-wide export: Exports are scoped to individual events. To consolidate data from multiple events, export each one separately and merge the CSV files manually.

  • No importing: Posh does not support importing contacts or attendee lists from external platforms (e.g. Eventbrite). Data can only flow out of Posh via export — not in.

Filtering Parameters and Order States

Review these specific dashboard settings before generating your final file:

  • Canceled Orders: Canceled transactions are hidden by default. Toggle Include canceled orders to show them. The spreadsheet will append " - Canceled Attendee" to the customer's name for quick filtering.

  • Checkout Questions: Ensure Custom Checkout Field is checked to view or sort answers collected from your checkout prompts.

  • Custom Fees: Check Custom Fees to include separate breakdown columns independent of standard gross counters to match your bank tallies for sales tax or facility assessments.

  • Paylink Invoices: Include Is Paylink Order to easily tag and track premium corporate client allocations.

Compliance and Final Export Lock

To keep consumer information secure and comply with data handling mandates, our export system features a strict validation gate:

  1. Review the data handling agreement at the bottom-left of the layout window.

  2. Check the box next to "I agree to the Terms & Conditions". (The gray Export button remains locked until this agreement is clicked).

  3. Click Export to request your report. Once you receive and open the export email, you can download the CSV report to your device and save a local copy. The email provides access to the report; you can still download the file and use it on your device.

Common Export Questions

Can I export a CSV of just attendance (who was scanned in)?

Yes — include the Tickets Scanned field from the Ticketing Dynamics category. This column shows which tickets were scanned at the door, so you can filter your CSV to just checked-in attendees.

Can I export attendee data across all events in my organization at once?

No. Exports are per event only. If you need data from multiple events, export each one individually and combine the files. There is currently no single-download option for org-wide attendee or contact data.

Can I print a physical door manifest from the export?

Yes — export your report before the event and open the CSV in a spreadsheet tool (like Excel or Google Sheets). Filter or sort by the columns you need, then print directly from there.

Can I export analytics or data from past events?

Yes. Navigate to any past event, go to the Settings tab, and follow the same export steps. Past event reports include all the same data fields and filters as current events.

Can I import contacts or an attendee list into Posh?

No. Posh does not currently support importing contacts or attendee lists — including uploads from other platforms like Eventbrite. Data can only flow out of Posh via the export report, not in.
