Discover More with the New Home Tab

The new Home tab in the app is here to make it easier to find events that match your vibe. 🏠 Think of it as your starting place for discovery—whether you’re in the mood for nightlife, activities, or just want to see what’s trending.

Instead of only scrolling a feed, you’ll now have quick ways to browse and explore events that feel right for you.

What you’ll see 👀

Here’s what you’ll see when you open the Home tab:

📱 On the App:

  • For You – personalized picks based on the recommendations you love in Explore.

  • Categories – jump into themes like 🎶 Nightlife or 🎨 Activities.

  • Posh Selects – curated collections we’re spotlighting ✨.

  • Quick filters – narrow by date, price, and more 🔍.

  • Categories – jump into themes like 🎶 Party or 🎨 Fitness 💪🏽

Who will see it first 🚀

We’re trying this out with a smaller group of app users in NYC. Not everyone will see the Home tab right away—it depends on which version of the app you land in while we’re testing.

  • Some users will still start on Explore (today’s experience).

  • Others will start on Home, with Explore as the next tab.

  • 👉 Note: The first release will likely be iOS-only. Android users can expect access once the feature is fully enabled in a later update.

What’s next 🔮

We’ll keep building and adding fun updates:

  • Seasonal spotlights (like 🎃 Halloween events)

  • Map view 🗺️ directly from Home

  • More personalized sections—like where your friends are going, categories just for you, and recently viewed events.

FAQs ❓

Why don’t I see the Home tab yet?
We’re still testing it, so only some users in NYC will have it for now.

Will it look the same for everyone?
For the first version, yes. Over time, the Home tab will adjust to your location and interests.

What if there aren’t events near me?
When you browse by city, results aren’t limited to that exact city name. Posh uses the selected city’s latitude/longitude as the center of the search and shows events within a 20-mile radius. If you choose Near Me, Posh uses your device’s location as the center instead.

Can I see this on the web too?
Not yet—it’s app-only for now.

Quick fixes ⚡

  • Update your app to the latest version.

  • Turn on location permissions for more accurate recommendations.

  • Still don’t see Home? You may not be in the pilot yet.
