Your event’s Marketing tab brings together Kickback offers, Kickback affiliates, tracking links, and host sales. Use it to manage affiliate commissions, measure campaign performance, and see which hosts drive ticket sales.
Accessing Event Marketing
Log into your Posh Organizer dashboard in a browser.
Click the event you want to manage to open its event page.
Select Marketing from the tabs at the top.
Choose the right link: Kickback affiliates earn commissions through their personal Kickback links. Ordinary tracking links measure referrals and do not earn Kickback commissions. Host sales tracks the performance of your assigned event hosts.
Kickback Offers: Creating an Offer
Posh allows you to run both public and private campaigns at the same time. Click the New offer button in the top-right corner to open the configuration modal and customize your strategy:
Commission Earned
Rate Structure: Choose between a dynamic percentage (%) or a flat dollar rate ($), then enter your value (e.g., 10).
Payout Triggers: Select whether this commission is applied Per ticket sold or flat Per order processed at checkout.
Inventory Limits
Limit to ticket type(s): Use the dropdown menu to apply this offer to All ticket types or restrict it strictly to specific tiers (like General Admission only, excluding VIP tables).
Visibility & Enrollment (Public vs. Private)
The Golden Rule of Public Offers: Posh allows exactly one active public offer per event. If you already have an active public campaign, the system will lock the "Open to anyone" toggle for any subsequent offers you build. To create a brand-new public offer, you must first disable your existing public offer from the ledger.
Public Campaign (Open to anyone ON): Toggle this switch ON to automatically allow any ticket buyer or visitor to become an ambassador.
Display Kickback banner: When this is toggled on, a public invitation banner displays directly on your checkout page encouraging attendees to share their custom link to earn money back.
Private Campaign (Open to anyone OFF): Toggle this switch OFF to create an invite-only, hidden campaign. This registers the offer as Private on your ledger and requires you to manually assign individual promoters to the offer via their phone or email.
Managing Active Offers
Once your offers are live, you can monitor their status, tickets sold, and total revenue generated directly from your Kickback offers summary ledger.
To make adjustments on the fly, click the three dots (...) icon on the far right side of any active offer row to access these options:
Edit offer: Adjust commission values, change ticket tier restrictions, or update banner settings.
Disable offer: Instantly pause tracking and freeze link generation for that campaign. (Do this first if you need to free up your public slot to launch a new public campaign!)
Enable offer: Reactivate a previously paused campaign to resume affiliate tracking.
⚠️ Tracking link ≠ Kickback link. If an affiliate shares a tracking link instead of their personal Kickback link, they will not earn any commission. Use the Generating Custom Tracking Links section below for standard tracking links.
Kickback Affiliates: Adding Private Affiliates
If you are partnering with specific high-profile influencers, venue hosts, or street teams under a private campaign framework, you will manually onboard them:
Scroll down to the Kickback affiliates section and click the Add affiliate button.
For Active Platform Users: Search for their existing profile inside the Add existing Posh user box by entering their cell phone number or verified account email.
For External Partners: If they are completely new to Posh, navigate to the Invite non-Posh user fields and fill out their First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number.
Click Invite now. The system will route a private onboarding link directly to them, displaying their status as Invited until they finish registering.
Auditing Real-Time Influencer Performance
Never guess which promoters are moving real tickets. To view an individual ambassador's metrics, locate their name under your main Kickback affiliates roster, click the three dots (...), and select View affiliate. Posh provides four specialized auditing tabs:
Monitoring Tab | Operational Performance Metrics Captured |
Kickbacks | Displays a high-level summary grid tracking total Page visits, active Tickets sold, overall Gross Merchandise Value (GMV generated), and the exact pool of Commission earned. |
Referred attendees | Displays a comprehensive spreadsheet ledger revealing exactly who bought from them. Shows Attendee name, Tickets purchased, Total Spend, custom profile Tags, and SMS Opt-In status. |
All orders | Allows you to audit deep, itemized transactional histories attached to their tracking link string. |
Profile | Provides direct access to their contact data and internal operational profile timelines. |
Generating Custom Tracking Links
Tracking links evaluate specific marketing placements—such as a link in an Instagram bio, a Facebook ad group, or an email newsletter.
Step-by-Step Link Generation
Scroll to the Tracking links header block and click New tracking link in the top-right corner.
Name Your Link: Enter a simple text slug identifying your placement channel (e.g.,
poshornewsletter).Click Create to generate a clean, custom URL routing directly to your event page.
Managing Live Links
To manage active links, click the three dots (•••) on the far right of any tracking link row.
Use the options dropdown to instantly copy the unique URL path to your clipboard or delete the link to permanently kill active data capture.
Analyzing Tracking Link Summaries
Click directly on any tracking link row to launch a deep-dive analytical summary modal displaying five comprehensive metrics panels:
Stats Panel: Real-time visibility into Page visits, active Tickets sold, net traffic Conversion rate, and total baseline Revenue generated.
Ticket Types: A clean breakdown revealing exactly which ticket tiers are converting best through this specific link (e.g., General Admission vs. VIP Packages).
Table Sales: Tracks premium VIP or venue bottle table reservations secured through the link.
Promo Code Uses: Monitors whether consumers layer promotional discount codes on top of this link path at checkout.
Attendees Ledger: Displays a complete roster of the individual guests who used this exact link to buy tickets.
Host Sales: Reviewing Performance
While tracking links monitor general ad channels, the Host sales tracks your human team. When you add a team member as a Host, Posh automatically generates a personal referral link to track their performance.
Step-by-Step Host Auditing
Scroll down to the Host sales summary board.
Review high-level performance columns at a glance: Page visits, Tickets sold, Conversion rate, and Revenue generated.
Click on any individual Host’s name row to open their profile card.
Navigate to the Host sales tab inside their profile window to access their Referred attendees list. This view shows you exactly which specific guests bought tickets through their referral link.

FAQs
Does an ordinary tracking link earn Kickback commission?
No. Affiliates must share their personal Kickback link to earn commissions. A standard tracking link only measures referrals.
Where do attendees find their Kickback links and payout settings?
See Start Earning with Posh Kickback Program for attendee instructions.
Can I run public and private Kickback offers together?
Yes. You can run both, but each event can have only one active public offer at a time. Private offers require you to add affiliates manually.
