Managing Your Posh Event Series and Recurring Lineups

Learn how to create an event series, manage bulk vs. individual date updates, track aggregated sales analytics, and navigate scheduling rules for recurring events.

Setting up a recurring residency, a weekly party, or a multi-day festival is seamless on Posh. Instead of manually duplicating individual event pages every week, you can build, schedule, and track an entire calendar of occurrences from your centralized Posh web dashboard.

The Event Series Creation and Editing Flow

Creating a Brand-New Event Series

  1. Log in to your account to open your main Posh Organization dashboard.

  2. Click the floating + Create event button on the right side of your screen.

  3. Locate the Dates block at the top of the editor page and click the button that says No next to Recurring Series to launch the interactive setup window.

  4. Configure your cadence by choosing your frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly), selecting your days of the week, setting an expiration constraint (a specific calendar date or a total number like 5 occurrences), and clicking Save.

Bulk-Editing Global Series Details

To push sweeping modifications across your entire calendar timeline all at once, navigate to the Events tab in your top navigation menu and select your active event series. Click the ✏️ Edit Series tab on the top menu bar to make global changes. Saved updates apply instantly to every occurrence across the board, including the event name, main flyer image, location, venue details, short/long descriptions, and adding more dates to extend the series timeline.

Modifying Specific Dates and Individual Sessions

Once your series is saved, the platform automatically generates each date as an independent entry under your main Events tab, clearly labeled by its chronological order (e.g., Session 1 of 5, Session 2 of 5). Click directly into any specific session entry to apply localized tweaks like adjusted door times or unique text updates for that night. Note that ticket tier configurations, promo codes, artist lineups, complimentary ticket allocations, and private guest lists cannot be updated globally and must be managed separately inside each specific session.

Managing Series Cancellations and Restrictions

Canceling Occurrences and System Guardrails

To skip a single week or cancel an occurrence, navigate to your Events tab, click into that specific session, and cancel it individually.

💡 Proactive Workaround: To temporarily pause entries for a single night without canceling the session entirely, jump into that specific date's ticket settings and toggle all active ticket tiers to Hidden.

Keep these strict structural limitations in mind to protect your workspace layout:

  • Duplication rules: Event series layouts cannot be duplicated as a single bundle — only standard single-date events support the duplication tool. If you want to reuse a series setup, you can extend an active series by adding more dates via Edit Series, but there is no way to duplicate a series as a whole.

  • Irreversible settings: Once your series is launched, the overall duration cannot be shortened, and you cannot delete the entire series using a single bulk action. Additionally, a series cannot be edited or extended after it has officially concluded. There is also no bulk or automated session creation path — each session in a series must be configured individually.

Series Analytics and Attendee Experience

Tracking Revenue and Sales Analytics

Posh delivers both micro-level tracking data for single nights and macro-level performance metrics for your complete brand footprint. Head to the Home or Analytics tabs at the top of your screen to review your combined data. While each individual event session retains its own independent sales logs, order tracking, and guest lists for seamless entry scanning on the night of the show, your main dashboard automatically aggregates total tickets sold, cumulative revenue, page views, and conversion rates across the entire timeline.

Navigating the Recurring Attendee Experience

The checkout flow is designed to be completely transparent and clean for your community to minimize inbound support questions:

  • Centralized landing page: Your recurring events are labeled clearly, allowing attendees to view and browse all upcoming available dates from a single, unified landing page.

  • Ticketing & links: Every single occurrence retains its own unique, shareable URL for targeted digital marketing campaigns.

  • Proactive Tip for buyers: If a guest wishes to attend multiple separate dates within your series, they must complete checkout for their first date and grab their ticket for the next session as a separate transaction.
