Creating and Editing Your Ticket Types

Create flexible ticket types to maximize your event’s potential. With Posh, you can create a variety of ticket types to cater to different attendee needs and optimize your event’s revenue.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Log in to your Posh account in your browser.

  2. Go to your Event Details page.

  3. Select the Ticket 🎟️ icon.

  4. Select + Add Ticket Type.

  5. Customize your ticket type:

    • Title: Give your ticket type a clear and descriptive name (e.g., Early Bird, VIP, General Admission).

    • Price: Set the ticket price.

    • Quantity: Limit the number of tickets available.

    • Sale Dates: Determine the start and end dates for ticket sales.

    • Purchase Limits: Set minimum and maximum purchase quantities.

    • Description: Provide additional information about the ticket type.

    • Password Protection: Secure your ticket type with a password.

    • Approval: Require attendee approval before ticket purchase.

    • Hidden Ticket Types: Hide ticket types from the public view.

    • Multiple Purchases: Require attendees to purchase tickets in multiples.

    • Disabled Tickets: Temporarily disable ticket sales.

    • Sold Out Tickets: Mark a ticket type as sold out.

    • Ticket Transfer: Disable the ability for attendees to transfer tickets to others. This is enabled by default.

    • Available Online & In-Person: Enable or Disable Ticket availability in Person or online.

By creating a variety of ticket types, you can increase your event’s revenue and attract a wider audience.
