Choosing the Right Organization Type on Posh 🎭
Choosing the right organization type ensures your brand is represented properly on Posh. Follow these steps to manage your settings:
Note: Organization type selection is currently only available on the web version of Posh.
1. Access Your Organization Settings
Log in to your Posh account in a web browser.
Go to your group's Settings page in the top-right corner of the organizer dashboard (the main page where you see your events).
2. Select Your Organization Type
Under the General tab (the default settings view), find the Organization Type section.
Choose the option that best fits your brand:
Venue
Hospitality Group
Festival
Fraternity/Sorority
Personal
Other
3. Save your changes.
That's it! Your organization type is now updated and reflected across your events.
Important Note: If you select Personal, your name will be displayed as the host on the event pages. To maintain privacy, consider selecting a different organization type.
