Getting Started with Organizer Referrals

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Ready to earn extra income while growing the Posh community? 🎉
With Organizer Referrals, anyone — including attendees and organizers — can invite new event organizers to join Posh and earn a 10% commission on the fees they generate. The more successful organizers you bring in, the more you earn — it’s that simple!

Whether you’re sharing your unique referral link or sending exclusive invites, it’s an easy way to turn your network into extra earnings. 💰

Getting Started

Before you can access the Organizer Referrals Dashboard, make sure you’ve:

Completed Stripe Onboarding – Finish your Stripe setup and any required verification steps.

💳 Added a Referral Debit Card – This is where your referral earnings will be deposited.

💡 If you already have a debit card linked to your Kickback account, it will automatically be used for your referral payouts.

Once you’re all set, head to your Organizer Referrals Dashboard and start sharing your link to invite other organizers!

Inside the Organizer Referrals Dashboard

1. Overview Tab

  • Earn 10% Commission on Every Referral
View your referral details and access your unique referral link.

  • Share Your Referral Link
Click Send Exclusive Invite to open the referral form and invite organizers directly.

📱 Note: On mobile web or app, the referral dashboard is nested under “Group Navigation” and may not appear in the main navigation tab.

2. Send an Exclusive Invite

When you click Send Exclusive Invite, a pop-up will appear where you can invite an organizer by entering:

  • Organizer’s email and phone number

  • Details about their events (number per year, average attendees, average ticket price)

  • Optional: their Instagram handle

Then click Send Invitation.

💡 If you select “Refer as a Top Organizer for White Glove Onboarding,” our team will personally reach out to help your referral get set up.

3. Analytics / Payouts Tab

Use this tab to track your progress and earnings:

  • 📈 New Organizers Over Time – monitor how many new organizers you’ve referred

  • 🎟 Number of Events – see how active your referrals are

  • 💰 Total Commission – view your total earned commissions

4. Managing Payouts

In the Banks & Debit Cards and Past Payouts sections, you can:

  • Verify or update your connected bank/debit card for payouts

  • Review your past payouts once commissions start rolling in

💡 Payouts are automatically processed every other Wednesday.

Troubleshooting Payouts

Missing Stripe Information

If your details are incomplete or invalid (e.g., failed ID upload or incorrect SSN):

  • Stripe will block your access until it is fixed

  • You’ll see a Retry Payment option after 3 days

  • If unresolved for 2 weeks, you’ll need to re-complete Stripe onboarding

Bank Account Issues

If your payout method fails or is outdated:

  • Payouts may appear as “paid” but are on hold in Stripe until you update your info

  • Once updated, payouts resume automatically

  • You may see an “Error” label under Banks & Debit Cards, prompting you to fix your info
