How to Transfer Tickets

Sending tickets to your bestie(s) is now super easy! You can do this quickly and securely within the Posh app.

📌 Important Note:
If the Transfer Tickets button is visible but grayed out, it means the event organizer has disabled ticket transfers for that specific ticket type. This isn’t a technical issue — transfers must be enabled by the organizer.

Transferring Tickets

📱 On the App:

  1. Open the Posh app and go to your order.

  2. Tap the Transfer Tickets button.

  3. Select the tickets you want to send.

  4. Enter the recipient's phone number. (If they aren't a Posh user yet, they'll get an invite to join)

  5. Review and confirm the transfer.

  6. Then, hit done. Please note that the transfer isn’t complete until accepted. You will see a pending status and can cancel anytime before the ticket is accepted.

🗣️ Heads up: Transferred tickets are non-refundable.

🌟 Important Notes:

  • Tickets from disputed orders are void and cannot be transferred. Disputed orders are automatically cancelled, and the associated tickets will no longer be valid.

  • Posh isn’t able to support ticket re-sales on third-party platforms, but if you decide to resell your ticket elsewhere, you’re welcome to explore that option—just keep in mind that it would be at your own discretion and risk.

  • If you’ve already transferred your ticket and try to use your original QR code at event entry, it will show as “Canceled.” Once a ticket is transferred, the original QR code is no longer linked to your account and cannot be used for entry.

Receiving Tickets

📱 You'll need the Posh app to accept a ticket transfer. This cannot be done via the website. If you don't have an account yet, sign up with your phone number here: https://posh.vip/login. Then download the Posh app to accept the transfer.

  1. You'll get a notification via text or through your Posh app directly.

  2. Accept the ticket transfer: Before accepting the transfer, make sure you’re logged in first.

  3. Confirm.

  4. Tickets Accepted. You're all set!

FAQs

Can I transfer tickets on the website?

Nope, this feature is only available in the app. But don't worry, the website will guide you to download the app!

What if my friend doesn't have a Posh account?

Make sure you’re transferring your ticket to a phone number that’s already linked to an existing Posh account. This helps your friend avoid issues when claiming the ticket. If they don’t have an account yet, have them create one first before you transfer!

Are there any orders that can't be transferred?

Yes — tickets from disputed orders are void and cannot be transferred. If an order has been disputed, it will be cancelled and the associated tickets will no longer be valid.

Will this feature apply to every ticket type?

No, organizers will have the option to enable or disable ticket transfers for each ticket type.

What happens to my original order?

Your original order will still be there, but the transferred tickets will be removed from it. A brand new order will be created for the recipient.

What if my ticket required me to input answers to custom questions?

The recipient will answer any checkout questions associated with the ticket type before accepting the transfer.

Can I transfer tickets that require approval?

Not at this time, but we're working on it!

Can I transfer a complimentary ticket that I received?
