Promo codes are a great way to increase ticket sales, reward your loyal audience, and attract new attendees. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create and manage promo codes in POSH:

  1. Log in to your POSH account using your browser.

  2. Navigate to your Event Details page.

  3. Click on the "Tickets" tab.

  4. Scroll down and select "+Create Promo Code."

  5. Name Your Promo Code: Use a clear and memorable name.

  6. Choose a Discount Type: Pick either a percentage or flat rate discount.

  7. Set the Discount Amount: Define the exact percentage or dollar amount to be discounted.

  8. Set Usage Limits:

    • Decide whether the code can be used unlimited times or set a specific number of uses.

    • Note: If you set a "specific number of uses", this is counted per order, not per ticket.

  9. Apply Ticket Type Restrictions: Choose whether the promo code can be used for all ticket types or only specific ones.

  10. Click Create Promo Code to save and activate it.

Managing Your Promo Code

  • Once created, you can disable or delete your promo code at any time directly from the same page under the "Tickets" tab.

Tips for Sharing Your Promo Code

After creating your promo code, make sure to share it with your audience through:

  • Social media posts and stories

  • Email newsletters

  • SMS or direct messages

  • Event flyers or digital graphics

Promos are most effective when combined with your other marketing efforts—get creative and track which channels work best!
