Sending a Text Blast via the Event Page

Use event-specific SMS blasts to communicate directly with attendees of a particular event. This method is ideal for sending updates or follow-ups related to that specific event.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your Posh account using a web browser.

  2. Navigate to the Event Details page of the specific event.

  3. Go to the Attendees section.

  4. Select the Attendees you wish to message.

  5. Compose and Send Your Message:

    • Craft a concise message within the 140-character limit.

    • You may include external links in event-specific blasts.

    • Remember that emojis and special characters reduce the character count.

Important Notes:

  • Unlimited Blasts: Event-specific blasts are unlimited up to 3 days post-event.

  • Character Limit: 140 characters max. Emojis and special characters reduce this limit (e.g., using an emoji reduces the limit to 115 characters).

  • Link Restrictions: External links are allowed in event-specific blasts.

  • Content Restrictions: No profanity, drug/alcohol references, or hate speech.

  • Opt-Out: Attendees can opt-out of SMS messages.

  • Optimization: These limits and restrictions are designed to maximize engagement, minimize unsubscribes, and ensure optimal delivery.
